The Tiger Jumbo is back! (with Rossiya this time) — Allplane
In September IAC completed a special livery for Rossiya Airlines featuring the face of an Amur Tiger on the nose of a Boeing 747. This livery took a total of 12 days to complete; the tigers face was applied from a basic pre-designed sketch but predominately painted free hand on site in Fiumicino, Rome.

In 2016, Rossiya Airlines placed an order for the face of the Amur Tiger to be featured on the nose of a Boeing 747, as part of a collaboration with the 'Amur Tiger Centre' to raise awareness of the challenges of preserving and enhancing the unique population of Amur leopard tigers.

In September 2016 Rossiya's 6 th 747-400 (EI-XLD) was rolled out wearing a similar Tiger scheme and nicknamed 'Tigrolyot'. She was painted up at Alitalia's maintenance facility in Rome. The aircraft seats 522 with 12 in business class and 510 in economy. Since then, just this month in fact, she has been joined by a former Transaero 777.

Rossiya Airlines, part of Aeroflot Group, has taken delivery of its sixth Boeing 747-400, featuring a special livery in which the entire nose section carries the image of a tiger's head.. Rossiya has revealed that the painting was carried out in Italy, at the site of Alitalia's maintenance service, in Rome. The 747 jumbo is fitted with 522 seats, with 12 in business class and 510 in economy.
